Teaching PhilosophyMusic is personal and subjective. At the same time, it is based on many objective aspects.
I believe that when these aspects are integrated into a clear learning structure and broken down into methodical steps, anyone will be able to grow musically. Playing an instrument is more than just an activity; it is an attitude that teaches us patience and equips us with problem-solving skills. Rather than approaching music with trepidation, it should be relished. Performance, be it in a personal or public sphere, can inspire much euphoria, especially when coupled with the right mindset and curriculum. I have experience working with all age groups from beginner to advanced level. Interested in knowing more about cello lessons? Click here to schedule a 30 minutes trial lesson! Testimonials
Zoi is an incredible cellist and educator. Her passion, scholarly background, and performance experience in classical music is always present in our lessons. As an older student with a somewhat unconventional background in learning the cello, she has been able to help fill in the gaps of my ability by covering aspects such as form, technicality and tone in our lessons. She is versatile in teaching techniques, being able to offer multiple exercises to strengthen these aspects and cater to specific needs.

Zoi is a truly gifted teacher for young cellists.
My son began studying Suzuki cello with her at age five, and I was astounded not only by her ability to explain technique and theory in a way he could understand and apply, but also by her brilliant way of keeping an active little boy focused for an entire lesson week after week. My son adores Zoi for her fun, approachable personality, and I adore her patience, skill, and awareness. Zoi has found that perfect balance of the Suzuki Triangle and how to teach in a way that is engaging because she disguises technique in games. Observing my son’s lessons and Zoi’s personal performances made me confident he was learning from the best.
